Common Questions About Our Charters
Yes, a deposit is necessary to hold your date. Deposits can be sent via any major credit card through PayPal (no PayPal account required) or by personal check. See full details on our charters and rates.
We all know that life comes with few guarantees, and fishing is no exception. Some boats use this deceptive claim to lure clients, but what they do not tell you is what type of fish you will catch (bait fish often count as part of your catch). No reputable operation will guarantee you any specific catch.
No. We carry a vessel license that covers our passengers, so there is no need to purchase one. Be wary of operations that ask you to buy a license, as that usually means they are not properly licensed.
Cash and credit cards are accepted. Checks are accepted for deposits mailed at least one week prior to fishing. You can also pay your balance or gratuity online via PayPal.
Rates vary depending on the trip you choose, starting at $850 for a half day. Please check out our Miami charter rates or contact us for details and to find the right trip for your group.
We can carry a maximum of four passengers, adults and/or children. Our trips are private, so you fish with just your own group aboard the Nomad.
Trips are normally only cancelled due to extreme weather, at the discretion of the captain. In the event of a weather cancellation, 100% of the deposit is refunded. Trips cancelled for any other reason must be cancelled at least 7 days prior, or the deposit will be forfeited. The full policy is on our charter rates.
Unfortunately, we do not offer split charters. We feel they are not in our clients' best interest, so every trip is private to your group.
No. Coolers and ice are provided as part of your charter. Simply bring your food and drinks and we will ice them down for you.
Tips are greatly appreciated. Normal gratuity ranges from 10% to 20% of the trip rate, and can be added to your PayPal payment or handed to the captain at the dock.
