The Brickell Fishery
Brickell's bayfront location puts the whole Biscayne Bay fishery within easy reach. The flats and channels just south of the Brickell waterfront hold snook, jacks, and tarpon that move on the tide. The deeper bay water along the Rickenbacker Causeway is a reliable spot for a quick inshore session. That mix makes for a flexible day, whether you have a full eight hours or just a half-day window between meetings.
Push east toward the reef and Brickell anglers get the same blue-water access the rest of Miami enjoys. The Gulf Stream runs close here, so the troll for mahi, sailfish, and tuna starts soon after you clear the bay. We rig for live bait and kite fishing when the sailfish are on the reef edge and switch to trolling when the fish are spread out and hunting.
The bridges and channels near Brickell are also classic tarpon water in the warm months.
